Traver Dougherty Biographical Information

With nearly 20 years of ministry experience including missionary, church planter, and senior pastor, Traver combines his love for the Word and the Church with the reality of life. Traver holds two earned doctorates—a D.Min. in Spiritual Formation from Haggard Graduate School of Theology (Azusa Pacific University) and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies (Missions) from Fuller Theological Seminary. Traver’s primary research interests include discipleship, church systems, and biblical interpretation. Alongside his involvement with planting house churches, Traver serves as a regular presenter for church planting conferences (Church Multiplication Associates) and has taught at Western and Fuller Theological Seminaries. Traver lives in Roseville, CA with his wife, Aimee, and two sons, Keith and Keagan.
